This position is responsible for maintaining and developing Domino Industrial sales in the northeast region of the United States. Additional responsibilities include managing the Industrial re-export sales program in conjunction with the ASR raw sugar group. This position will report to the Director of the Industrial Division. The northeast region geographically consists of 6 to 8 states of account coverage and travel.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, execute and achieve sales objectives in assigned territory.
Primary responsibility for two to three large size manufactures in the northeast and some small to medium size accounts throughout the region. Total sales in the region are approximately $140M.
Creates for communication and coordination of strategies with VP of Industrial Sales and the ASR raw sugar group to manage Re-Export sales in the region.
Create and maintain relationships with the current and new customers to grow profit and volume in the region.
Develops effective sales programs for key Industrial accounts in the geography.
Collaborate with the Director of Industrial Sales to analyze, develop and recommend annual customer sales/profitability plans for approval by the VP Industrial Sales.
Negotiation of prices and contracts with new and existing customers to maximize sales and revenue for the company.
Responsible for all Domino Foods Inc./ASR account contact including sales, quality assurance, logistics, accounting, etc.
Manage broker network to ensure maximization of sales and customer satisfaction.
Analyze current raw/ refined sugar market and competitors for price negotiation strategies. Develop and recommend these offers to manager for approval.
Expand sales and develop customer relationships within the region. Target sales opportunities by visiting potential new customers and developing relationships with industrial manufacturers and distributors.
Ensure compliance with all programs through effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. Use SAP, BI, C4C (Sales Software System), Excel, PowerPoint and other reports to ensure compliance.
Understand competition in this geography – their products, logistics and strategies/tactics.
Travel requirements are 20% and include approximately three overnights per month.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in the ingredient/commodity market.
Bachelor’s degree required.
MBA preferred but not required.

LOCATION OF ROLE
- Expected to be in the Yonkers office 2-3 days per week, and remote 2 days per week
