Your Role and Responsibilities

Currently, we are looking for a Linux Specialist .

Linux specialist is mainly responsible for maintaining Linux environments in global DRaaS locations and support Disaster Recovery services provided by our team. Our product can recover different OS (AIX, Linux - RedHats/SUSE, Windows) and is provided to customers around the World. This position gives a lot of possibilities to work on different systems, technologies (including Storage, Network and DR Applications) and get to know deeply the Disaster Recovery environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Higher education (preferred technical or similar)

  • Fluent English - spoken and written

  • At least 3 years of experience in Linux System Administration

  • Experience in IBM PowerVM

  • Experience with NIM and NFS

  • Experience with Logical Volume Manager, Storage concepts and SAN provisioning

  • Experience with Disaster Recovery and data replication

  • Understanding and work experience with PowerHA SystemMirror technology

  • Shell scripting (korn/bash) will be an asset

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Practical knowledge about Windows administration

  • Knowledge about virtualization LPARs / VMware ESX
