CVS Health Marketing Operations Manager in WORK FROM HOME, Connecticut

Job Description

Aetna Marketing is leading enterprise rationalization and digitization efforts in support of an enterprise communications transformation campaign. The goal is to reduce print costs, increase digitization, and improve member experience through effective messaging and streamlining communications.To spearhead these efforts, we have instituted the Communications Advisory Board (CAB). This function is responsible for a review process to drive a disciplined approach to the development of new communications.We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who will support the Governance Director in leading operations of this structure within Clinical and Operational Communications Governance Marketing Operations.This role will also support other partner communication transformation initiatives such as rationalization of existing communications, plain language transformation, and digitization. This individual must be an effective influencer with advanced communications and networking skills. As the lead for the CAB board, the individual will manage all related processes for evaluating clinical, transactional, business and operational communication proposals.This role requires:• Understanding of CVS Health and Aetna joint strategic goals• Understanding of enterprise business lines and their functions in the context of clinical and operational outbound communications• Grasp on required vs business driven communication needs• Strong interface with technology and systems• Experience with performance metrics measurement and evaluation• Coach colleagues and business partners through the CAB review process including optimizing submission practices, proactive issue resolution and facilitating collaboration between units• Develop close partnerships across Operations, Marketing Technology, Strategic Marketers, Procurement, Agency Relations, Finance and downstream development and execution functions to ensure strict adherence to CAB review and approval policy• Demonstrate advanced skills of analyzing data and turning it into actionable information• Facilitate strategy discussions with CAB submitters to fully explore their ideas and help them build the business case to present to CAB• Maintain communications calendar tracking to inform CAB review as new communications are added or removed; help inform marketers and Plan Sponsor requests of current landscape• Chaperone submitters through a lifecycle of their communication campaign, ensuring collection of final artifacts, archiving of data files and measurement of results achieved• Work with multiple stakeholders to track hard and soft KPIs, operational and financial benefits including but not limited to cost avoidance and projected savings• Ability to break down barriers and influence others without authority• Ensure new governance process and all end to end steps are followed for ensuring compliant communications• Influence through earning trust and building partnership across all organizational business lines• Communicate effectively within all levels of organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma or similar certification• Strategic thinking and leadership abilities to proactively execute solutions, build partnerships, and influence enterprise change• Sound understanding of communications technologies landscape, best practices in communications management and systems• Proven track record in effective execution of multifaceted initiatives

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in either marketing, communications, business administration or process improvement disciplines
