CVS Health Pharmacy Fulfillment Strategy and Optimization - Senior Manager in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

The Pharmacy Fulfillment Strategy and Optimization - Senior Manager, will be responsible for devising a strategy to differentiate the way products are fulfilled and supplied to our patients across the retail pharmacy business, with a goal of reducing inventory costs by $1B. This role will be highly visible and cross-functional in nature, requiring the ability to influence across boundaries to drive our enterprise towards an end-state vision.

As the primary lead responsible for Fulfillment Strategy, you will be tasked with identifying and developing innovative ways for CVS to strategically reduce inventory and mitigate downstream product-related costs while also ensuring the experience for our customers is seamless. This colleague will oversee a cross-functional task force of members from Inventory, Supply Chain, Pharmacy Innovation, Pharmacy Systems, Digital, and other departments to align on tactics to reduce inventory requirements and ensure sound and comprehensive process design to bring those tactics to life.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a real passion for data-driven insights, ability to conceive of and execute to a strategy, and excellent impacting and influencing skills.

This role is based in our Corporate office in Woonsocket, RI.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience within strategy, management consulting, product development, operations or related field

*2 + years of experience with operational initiatives, including business case development and opportunity sizing

  • 2+ years of project management, leading initiatives from ideation to launch, ability to influence large group of stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL experience

  • Retail pharmacy and/or healthcare experience a plus

Education

*Bachelor Degree Required

*PharmD Preferred
