CVS Health Executive Administrative Assistant in Woonsocket, Rhode Island
The SVP, Retail IT is seeking a dynamic and energetic Executive Assistant to help plan and manage the day-to-day activities in support of the Retail technology organization. The Executive Assistant role will support a Senior Vice President within Information Technology by helping to facilitate meetings and events within Retail Technology and coordinating meetings with the broader IT and Retail leadership teams. The role will encompass a wide range of activities including management of complex calendars and scheduling requirements, tracking key deliverables, leading the coordination of travel, expenses and budgeting, project coordination, and document preparation.Within this role, you will:• Maintain an efficient flow of information between all levels including internal and external contacts on a wide spectrum of plans and priorities.• Plan internal and external meetings with external officials, and other senior leaders across multiple teams and industries, including planning agendas, capturing/distributing minutes, and tracking action items.• Manage the daily/weekly itinerary of the Retail CIO by resolving scheduling conflicts and proactively reserving time to plan and curate material for important meetings.• Sounding board, confidant, and conduit to keep the Retail CIO well informed and help facilitate his/her decision making while identifying issues for escalations to keep in constant communication.• Plan and coordinate travel including air and ground transportation, hotel reservations, and other travel documentation.• Calendar management, prioritizing and providing recommendations on scheduling conflicts.• Plan and coordinate Retail Technology department meetings, including weekly staff meetings, CIO round tables and department townhalls. Help set up and manage communication channels in Microsoft Teams.• Partner with the Retail CIO on presentation preparation; reviewing, proofreading, and formatting correspondence to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Manage organized storage of materials for quick retrieval.
Required Qualifications :• 2+ years of Administrative experience support Senior Levels and above OR recent grad with a degree in Communications or Business Administration

Preferred Qualifications :• Previous experience providing support in an IT department• Previous experience supporting top executives in a large company• Use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word)• Demonstrated success working in an ambiguous environment• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining commitment to deadlines• Demonstrated success using business judgment to help drive key deliverables of the business• Proven track record demonstrating ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and use independent judgment• Strong organizational and communication skills, team orientated philosophy, and problem solving skills
Education :• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
