POWDR Dirt Course Maintenance Crew Woodward PA Summer 2021 in Woodward, Pennsylvania

JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW Position: Dirt Course Maintenance Crew Location: Woodward PA Job Status: Full Time - Seasonal JOB SUMMARY: The Dirt Course Maintenance Crew member will execute and oversee all dirt maintenance operations across the entire campus. They will be responsible for maintaining fun and safe dirt courses for campers, staff, and guests. Must be willing to evolve and adapt with the needs of the business and adhere to and support all work protocols and guidelines regarding COVID-19. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Passionate People * Understand Woodward's policy on work shifts, be on time and on task while working. * Shifts * Up to two 4 hour shifts per workday, one in the morning and one in the evening. * Tasks * Morning: untarp, weed, water, sweep, clear drains, etc. * Evening: water, rake, resurface, shape, tarp, etc. * Work in a team environment and communicate. * Facilities and Equipment (Innovative Environments) * Clean and store all equipment at the end of the day where designated. * Help conceptualize new and innovative dirt course features for the future. * Assist in maintaining an organized, safe, and clean environment for guests and staff. * Assist in maintaining Woodward safety logs, operational sheets, schedules and incident logs. * Other duties as assigned PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: * Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact and in person. * Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision. * Exhibits initiative, responsibility and accountability. * Strong attention to detail and safety. * Comfortable handling confidential information. * Successful working in an independent and team environment. * Embodies Powdr's Mission: Deliver memorable experiences. Website: woodwardpa.com Facebook: Woodward Camp Facebook Instagram: @woodwardcamp Youtube: Camp Show PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS: * Experience * High school degree or equivalent preferred. * Experience in dirt jump building/maintenance. * Health and Safety Certifications (or ability to obtain) * Darkness to Light Certification * Pennsylvania Mandated Reporter Certification * SafeSport Certification * NFHS Concussion in Sports Certification * NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification * NFHS Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Certification * NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Certification * Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. * Has the ability to implement ideas. BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS: * Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 75lbs. * Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment. * Camp Attendance Requirements * Pre Camp * Summer Camp Season (June 6th- August 28th) * Minimum preferred 6-week commitment within Summer camp season * Post Camp * Lodging & Food * 3 meals provided each day. * Housing provided. * Must successfully-pass a background screening to ensure suitability of contact with minor children and the public, in accordance with Federal, state and local jurisdictions. * Work related references upon request.
