SaltWorks, Inc. R&D Team Member in Woodinville, Washington
Who You Are:
Would you like to invent machinery and processes? Are you a lifelong learner that is fascinated by technology, automation, and efficiencies? Does the typical work environment feel stifling and overly complicated to you? Can you envision products and process solutions from multiple perspectives? Would you like to work in a more freestyle environment that recognizes and rewards creativity, ingenuity, and results?
We have an incredible opportunity for you, the one-in-a-million talent. You will have the opportunity to work with third party vendors and our in-house engineers, fabricators, and unique CEO.
You’re exceptional at engineering but may not have the degrees to prove it (it’s certainly not a negative if you do).
You create for fun, potentially for work as well.
You love to take things apart and put them back together better than they were before.
You’re a machine whisperer.
You’re driven and hungry to grow and build.
You work as well with a team and clear direction as you do alone and self-motivated.
You’re a curious, life-long learner.
You don’t need to know everything. Whatever you don’t know, we will teach you or bring in a third party to teach you.
Had You Been With Us Last Month, You Would Have:
Researched, conducted tests, and documented the results in a variety of disciplines within our production environment.
Worked with our team to design custom machines and processes from lab to mass market scale up.
Exercised your creativity to innovate and trail blaze.
Utilized virtually limitless resources at your disposal to execute the plans and ideas you and our team came up with.
Researched existing solutions and equipment and figured out how to best modify them for our context.
Familiarized yourself with our current ways of doing things and came up with ways to improve them.
Real world experience is as relevant as education or previous work experience. No one has ever had a job exactly like this one, with the most important qualification being your abilities. Wherever you have learned these abilities is fine, whether it be from previous jobs, your hobbies, or you were just born with a gift.
