Job Description

Production Chemist

6 month contract with potential for extension

Monday - Friday: 8-5 pm

As a Production Chemist you will support commercial production activities for BioPlex 2200 in both the Reagents and the Cals & Controls manufacturing areas.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare miniblends and bulk Cals & Controls

  • Process plasma units

  • Perform Check By's

  • Prepare documentation

  • Order and stock supplies

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in the Physical Sciences

  • Experienced in a Clinical Diagnostics, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or closely related industry R&D, Engineering or Production/QC environment preferred

  • Must have knowledge of complex chemical/biochemical procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as, in a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge and experience with MS Excel, Word and manufacturing business systems.
