This position is for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional supporting the Facilities Management Organization in Windsor Locks, CT. Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. Responsible for developing analysis and projections and conducting small projects.
This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the domestic U.S.
Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans.
Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial and budgetary reports to develop observations and preliminary recommendations.
Develops analysis on budgets, forecasts, etc...
Provides interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
Audits financial practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, laws and standards.
Conducts small-scale projects, completing ad hoc analysis.
Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.
Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.
Develops and maintains financial information systems.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Must be available for limited travel if located outside of Windsor Locks
Prior accounting experience
Budget planning and investment decision criteria
Effective communication skills and prior experience as a finance business partner to operational leadership
SAP experience is preferred, not required
