Within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) line of business, CCB Data & Analytics Team (D&A) unifies data and analytics talent across Chase to responsibly leverage data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of Data & Analytics disciplines, from data governance and data strategy/partnerships to reporting, data science and machine learning, and are actively engaged in ensuring impact at the front-line and the customer through Sales and Marketing transformation. D&A has a strong partnership with dedicated Technology partners, who provide cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. CCB Data & Analytics is the engine that powers Chase with insights, providing an opportunity to materially impact both our customer and business outcomes.

Control Management (CM) maintains a strong and consistent control environment across the firm. With Control Managers appointed for each Line of Business, Function and Region, there is a comprehensive coverage and joint accountability model with the business executive that promotes early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.

Control Management focuses on four areas:

1) Control design and expertise

2) Risks and controls identification/assessment

3) Control breaks and resolution

4) Control governance & reporting

Role Responsibilities:

• Create a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols

• Review and analyze program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) to support business-related programs and strategies

• Provide leadership support for the end-to-end execution of the Risk & Control evaluation, including control breaks, Action Plans and resolutions, to reduce financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk

• Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions

• Partner across Data and Analytics teams to deeply understand the business, recommend ways to strengthen controls and improve processes and help ensure timely of all applicable firmwide Control Programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

• 7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred

• Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create and evaluate controls

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
