WORK TYPE: FULL TIME 1.0 FTE (80 hours bi-weekly)
Performs varied administrative duties under the general supervision of lead personnel and assigned principals.
Performs administrative activities to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Works under the general supervision Operations Manager/Department Director.
SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES:
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION-Ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS-Demonstrates oral, written, and electronic communication skills.
INDEPENDENT WORK-Demonstrates ability to work independently or with limited supervision.
INTERMEDIATE COMPUTER SKILLS-Working knowledge including but not limited to the following: Microsoft Operating System and Network Operating System (NOS), Novell Netware, Unix Operating System, Citrix,
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
2 year administrative assistant experience required.
