Title: Machine Control Product ManagerLocation: Westminster, CODepartment: Civil Construction Field Solutions - Machine Control TeamJob SummaryTrimble is recruiting for a Product Manager (PM) to fill an opportunitywithin the global Machine Control Product Management Team. This individualwill be responsible for orchestrating all Trimble organizational elements inorder to achieve total product success as measured by revenue growth, marketposition, and profitability. As part of Trimble's product management teamthis individual will be responsible for working between multiple Trimbledivisions unifying technologies and applying a technical and business aptitudeto providing customer-centric solutions.Many of the resources needed forsuccess will not be in the direct control of the product manager, and theproduct manager must be able to leverage those resources through soundorganizational and communication skills.Primary DutiesProduct Lifecycle ManagementForecastingPricing ReleasePlanningProduct PositioningProduct DocumentationCustomer Value PropositionsCompetitive AnalysisProduct TrainingSkills and Experience Required:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geodetics, GIS, BusinessAdministration or equivalent experience required2+ years experience in construction, underground utilities, constructionland surveying, earthmoving equipment manufacturer (OEM) and/ordistributors in the construction industryKnowledge and experience with mobile application development models, userexperience, go-to-market strategies, and ecommerce.Must be capable of building productive relationships in a team-basedenvironmentMust demonstrate the ability to understand the audience and modify the messagefor the audience, for example senior management, contractors, internalengineering groups, distributors, sales engineersCapable in understanding the product application in detail.Must be able to accept a high level of personal responsibility for productsuccess in an environment of ambiguity and shared resourcesMust have unrelenting attention to detailMust be able to handle multiple tasks in parallel, take ownership and driveprojects to conclusion or resolution without daily detailed managementMust be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.Must demonstrate a high level of energy and self-motivationMust demonstrate the willingness to be a change agent and challengeconventional wisdomMust be willing to travel, both domestic and international, if requiredPay EquityTrimble provides the following compensation range and general description ofother compensation and benefits in good faith believes it might pay and/oroffer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full timeschedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than theposted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, dependingon circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protectedby local, state or federal law.Hiring Range:$68,000 - $88,000Bonus Eligible?
