Assist the Director of Special Events in the planning and implementation of all special events and projects.
Planning and implementation of special events including CycleRed and Friends of Saint Barnabas Golf Classic with the oversight of the Director of Special Events.
Assist with the planning and implementation of signature fundraising events Annual Golf Outing, Miracle Walk, A Reason to Rock, Valor Awards, Pink Crusade and others.
Solicit sponsors and in-kind donors for events.
Create event timelines and budgets for CycleRed and Friends of Saint Barnabas Golf Classic.
Work with committees to help reach event goals.
Assist with data entry of event participants into the events module of Raiser s Edge and Donor Drive.
Develop and send email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact.
Responsible for ordering promotional items for events, signage and other publicity related materials.
Supports administrative functions associated to special events (third party events) by creating web pages and posting sponsors on the specific event pages, creating and sending thank you letters for in-kind donations and assisting with updating social media pages.
Coordinate all of the event pages on department website prior to and following the event (invitations, sponsorship forms, sponsor logos, videos and pictures).
Submit raffle license and follow up with report after event concludes.
Supports fundraising initiatives such as Doctors Day and Employee Campaign.
Bachelor s Degree Required
3-4 years of experience in fundraising event production required
Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Raiser s Edge, Donor Drive, Classy, Canva or Constant Contact a plus
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
