Aerotek Assembly Operator in West Nyack, New York

Now Hiring Assembly Operators!

Top 3 Must Haves are:

1.) Experience with assembly equipment

2.) Ability to lift 35 pounds

3.) Prior production or clean room experience

The primary responsibilities are to work on production and assembly equipment in the production of high quality parts. Responsibilities include:

  • monitoring the quality of components and clearly communicating to the supervisory team any issues

  • validates product quality through SPC and visual, dimensional, and functional quality checks as well as ensuring proper packaging

  • Performs quality checks using various inspection gauges, microscopes, or calipers - Performs continuous quality checks to ensure that products meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements

  • Fills machine hoppers, performs rework, and sorts machine scrap

  • Package finished products and prepare them for storage or shipment *Notify supervision of product quality or mechanical issues

Pay: $16-19 an hour
