Cardinal Health Senior Client Services Associate in West Des Moines, Iowa

OutcomesMTM is the national leader in the administration of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) programs by leveraging local relationships among pharmacists, patients and prescribers. Through a nationwide network of more than 61,000 contracted chain, independent and health-system pharmacy providers, eligible members receive patient-friendly Personal Pharmacist™ services in their communities.

The Senior Client Services representative will be responsible for building strong relationships with designated strategic health plans.This individual will serve as the main point of contact for assigned client base and will be responsible for developing and strengthening client loyalty.Key responsibilities include assisting in implementation of new programs, providing ongoing support, preparing for ongoing meetings, and driving strategic discussions. This role requires self-motivation, problem solving skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Some travel will be required.

This is a full-time position located in West Des Moines, IA.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as lead and primary representative of OutcomesMTM for all assigned strategic client matters, interacting with client representatives, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Responsible for effective and successful management for assigned client accounts.
  • Creates and deepens relationships for clients by ensuring business needs and services expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of assigned client operations, contracts and business needs.
  • Analyze designated clients MTM program data to drive insights, program modifications and strategic discussions.
  • Acts as client advocate to drive client satisfaction, service performance, and profitability of assigned client accounts.
  • Leads the identification and resolution of client issues; escalating these as required for timely and effective resolutions.
  • Anticipate assigned client needs by acting proactively to engage and validate client’s needs.
  • Responsible for client-specific program oversight and MTM program status report generation.
  • Coordinate with the client and business account teams to ensure deadlines are met in accordance with timelines defined.
  • Communicates with assigned clients in a clear, ongoing and proactive manner regarding service performance, program issues and operational updates on client initiatives.
  • Drives strategic planning to improve program and client relations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day interactions with current clients, while aiding in implementation of new clients.
  • Leads coordination in creation, scheduling, internal coordination and preparation of supporting reports or presentations for client meetings.
  • Manage ongoing client calls to ensure reporting feedback is complete and clients are aware of their program performance.
  • Maintain ongoing coordination with various other internal departments as related to assigned clients.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years functioning within MTM program systems or related account management experience
  • At ease with technology and competent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, demonstrating professionalism and good judgment at all times.
  • Must be comfortable presenting in front of a group.
  • Needs the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction, while also being part of an integrated team.
  • Must be able to manage competing demands and multiple priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and exemplary follow-through.

Other Considerations

  • Travel up to 15%
  • Sitting and standing long periods of time.
  • Working in large auditoriums or crowded conference centers.
