This is an exciting new role and we are looking for best in class operators to join our new manufacturing site. Seeking individuals who have an inherent passion for innovation and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on industry leading equipment while making a valuable contribution to the mission of improving people’s lives globally. The site is focused on continuous improvement of all work processes and practices and all operators are required to be flexible in this regard. The successful candidate may be asked to carry out additional work functions that are not described in this specification but are associated with their role.
Operates and monitors equipment as deemed appropriate by skill level
Provides materials in accordance with established procedures.
Perform all operations with due care and attention and work within compliance with appropriate procedures, documentation, governmental regulations, safety programs, lean manufacturing principles and current good manufacturing practices
Ensure all daily targets are achieved while maintaining good standards of GMP and housekeeping within the area
Manage production flow and output, by carrying out a range of functions including tracking product at each stage of the process to ensure optimum equipment uptime and target outputs.
Maximise outputs of all products, within quality standards
Play a key role in the development of the manufacturing systems and will be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives. Proactively identifying operational improvement opportunities or process related issues including escalation & follow up for effective resolution and implementation
Champions for safe working practices and safety initiatives within their functional area.
Contribute and assist with Corporate, FDA Auditors and other regulatory bodies during company audits
Take an active role in area and site communications, making continuous improvement suggestions as appropriate.
Take an active role in structured problem solving within the area and cross functionally
Relevant experience in a similar environment advantageous
Knowledge of GMP an advantage
Experience in lean manufacturing practice, problem solving tools
Must be willing to work in a controlled environment, which involves the wearing of a gown, cap and relevant personal protective equipment
Excellent time keeping and attendance essential;
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Team orientated with a focus on continuous improvement
