Responsibilities

Manages and builds forward leaning advanced analytic workload staffing model solutions for federal customers. Responsible for working with the customer to gather and validate modeling business rules and assumptions, collecting and analyzing data, building data models, developing forecasts, trends, applying Machine Learning algorithms, and performing QC on models. Working with analytic tools including R, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI to build analytic models that provide real-time insights into data, decision-making, and workload complexity

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 10 years of workforce planning and modeling, studies and analysis, strategic planning, and human resource management experience

  • Brings specialized experience in planning, evaluating, directing, and coordinating research and development projects

  • Expertise in manpower modeling and requirements determination

  • Minimum/General Experience: 7 years’ experience in operations research, engineering, or management science, coupled with a quantitative discipline such as economics, mathematics or statistics

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or other related technical or scientific discipline

  • US citizens who have or can obtain DHS suitability is contractually required

Desired:

  • Degree in data science, mathematics, or similar

  • Experience working at DHS preferred

  • Experience applying advanced analytic techniques, forecasting, and machine learning to complex data sets

  • Experience with analytic tools including R, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI and languages including Python

  • Experience developing data models that produce multiyear forecasts
