Responsibilities

Our industry-leading perspective on the global energy transformation, the Energy Cloud, addresses all aspects of the energy value chain, providing specific details on how clients can harness changing business models. With an in-house research team, Guidehouse's clients have access to the latest data and insights related to the global energy transformation. We work side by side with clients, from the planning stages to implementation, applying our expertise across strategy, technology, and regulatory matters to ensure program success.
Senior Consultant-Regulatory Innovations have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Senior Consultant-Regulatory Innovations are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. Senior Consultant-Regulatory Innovations will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
Support the Energy Cloud Transformation Team’s State Regulatory Offering through businesses development activities, including the development and revision of business plans;
Support the State Regulatory Offering Team in the development of promotional/marketing materials;
Assist in the development of thought pieces, help to publish in appropriate industry journals;
Assist in the contribution of State Regulatory Offering Team initiatives, such as webinars, workshops, industry meetings and client outreach efforts;
Help identify potential clients and initiate outreach to develop client leads into project engagements;
Support client engagements to ensure timely and accurate deliverables;
Regularly participate in Team calls and lead regulatory project related administrative tasks; and
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business , finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline
3-5 years’ work experience in the electricity sector or equivalent technical experience
Working knowledge of regulatory bodies
Knowledge of net metering
Expertise in performance-based regulation
Experience in community solar based design
Experience with regulatory and legal compliance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Applications, especially Excel and Access
Currently reside or ability to relocate to SE Market area
Due to nature of client contracts, US Citizenship restrictions apply
Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications
Above minimum qualifications and the following:
Master’s degree in engineering, science, business and/or economics discipline.
2+ years’ work experience in the electricity sector or equivalent technical experience
Management consulting working experience
Additional Requirements
