GENERAL SUMMARY : The OR Resource and Supply Specialist will possess the knowledge and skill necessary to assist in coordinating the overall supply management within the operating room setting by ordering, receiving, and putting away supplies. Responsible to investigate/resolve inventory discrepancies and respond to immediate requests for supplies needed in the performance of operating room procedures. Assists in the coordination of the equipment repair process and completes repair purchase orders.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  1. High School graduate or equivalent.

  2. Minimum of two years experience with OR supplies and inventory control.

  3. A basic knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.

  4. Basic computer knowledge and skills.
