Responsibilities
As a Project Management Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
• Provide advisory, assistance, and project management support in support of strategic transformation projects• Maintain the project’s master schedule utilizing industry best practices• Provide support in developing Program Management Office (PMO) presentations and documentation• Perform cross-functional work on an as-needed basis across PMO work streams• Collaborate with multiple work streams to track project progress, control scope and assist with engagement financials• Develop reports to show progress of schedule tasks, late items, upcoming items, etc. on an as needed basis, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly• Take notes during client meetings and write meeting minutes• Schedule client meetings as needed• Serve as main point of contact for sending client various project deliverables• Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved• Manage the engagement onboarding and offboarding process• Provide guidance, along with program managers, in the execution of project financial execution
Qualifications
Required:
• Minimum of one year of professional work experience is required• Experience and comfort with MS Excel and other MS Office products• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university• Experience engaging with internal senior consultants and senior clients involved with contract and project management
Desired:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)• Ability to aggregate and synthesize data from authoritative systems into metrics and analytics• Ability to quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives
