Accenture Federal - Network Security Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Daily Responsibilities include:

  • Take initiative to proactively identify solutions to potential network issues / embrace network simplification and strengthened security

  • Collaborate on problem management and root cause analysis discussions with fellow network engineers, security engineers and analysts

  • Draft technical requirements, configuration management, and planning documentation

  • Support the Security Impact Analysis (SIA), an analysis that is conducted by the security team to review the extent to which changes to the information system will affect the security state of the system

  • Participate in testing and planning of operational network segmentation

Here is what you need:

  • 1+ years of direct experience supporting, engineering or operational support capacity (i.e. system administration, operations & maintenance) with one or more of the following technologies:

  • Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint, McAfee Web Gateway Product or any other Firewalls devices

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Palo Alto Certification – PNCSA

  • Hands on experience with A10 Devices

  • Hands on experience with SSL decryption

  • Familiarity with Load Balancing Technologies – such as F5

  • Familiarity with RSA Security Suite
