Accenture Federal - Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Title: Security Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Location: Washington, DC

You are:

The Security Information System Security Officer (ISSO) serves as the day-to-day point of contact for the Security team on the Dept of Education account for new and ongoing programs. The ISSO works closely with Clients, including the Information System Security Officer, Information System Owner (ISO), and third-party support vendors.

The work:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordination of program security activities including audits, system release activities, change requests, ad-hoc client requests, deliverables, security documentation updates, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)

  • Establishes and manages project plans for program security activities.

  • Facilitates security meetings with the client.

  • Tracks and reports on the status of work efforts and coordinates with security capability leads and cross-program teams.

  • Tracks open team positions and works with security capability leads to fill positions.

  • US Citizenship is required

Here's what you need:

  • Ability to implement one or more of the following Federal Security frameworks: FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, DIACAP and NIST SP 800 series and NIST SP 800-53

  • Experience leading teams

  • Experience interacting with client leadership
