Engineering Manager
Description/Responsibilities:
The Engineering Manager position is located at the KBR office in Warner Robins, GA
You will report to the Program Manager and work with the Project Manager by managing all engineering aspects of the program.
Provide leadership, guidance and training for Engineers.
Review and adjudicate reliability research, analyze, organize, plan, and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more complex programs
Analyze complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements
Work with the customers to develop and communicate requirements.
Interfaces with vendors and customers and performs extensive investigations as required.
Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
Develop engineering reports for the customer.
Develop and communicate presentations for the customer
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent experience. 5 years’ experience in technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government projects.
Proficient in MS Office and Project/Integrated Master Schedules
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems and innovate solutions
Strong verbal, technical writing, and communication skills
This position may require some travel
Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance within six months of hire
