Siemens Healthineers Laboratory Diagnostics (LD) Supply Chain Management (SCM) is seeking a financial analyst at the Walpole manufacturing site, home of the Immunoassay reagent production for the Atellica and Centaur product lines. Reporting to the Walpole Site Controller, the role requires complex analysis of supply chain management related topics in order to provide senior management with financial insight, transparency and business advice. Acting as a finance business partner to operational site leadership for all capacity expansion projects is a core element of the role. Additionally the creation of sophisticated forecast models for a variety of operational financial KPIs provides an opportunity to change the game in terms of forecasting and budgeting. The candidate must possess the ability to proactively engage internal customers at various levels of the organization, facilitate healthy channels for communications, and successfully support Walpole and LD SCM management in understanding actual performance and future projections.

Responsibilities:

  • Finance business partneringwith operational site leadership in all aspects of future site andcapacity expansion projects including creation of business models for suchundertakings.

  • Preparation of assignedportions of Walpole SCM financial reporting results and forecastsubmissions – e.g. volume development or P&L (including spending, andvariance analysis).

  • Development of reliableforecast models for major elements of the site P&L applying dataanalytics.

  • Preparation, analysis andreporting of annual budget submissions for Walpole SCM with significantfocus on Value of Production / Standard Product Costs and NetManufacturing Contribution.

  • Discussion of financial andoperational KPIs with key functional leaders in Walpole.

  • Interaction with finance andnon-finance stakeholders in Walpole, close working relationship with SCM PerformanceControlling team and support to high level management in LD.

  • Financial analysis and researchof complex SCM issues in order to provide senior management with easy to interpretfinancial data and business insight.

  • Identify, develop and driveprocess efficiencies that improve accuracy, quality and timeliness of the WalpoleFinance deliverables.

  • Foster an environment ofcontinuous improvement with emphasis on process re-engineering and automationof existing procedures.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline oradvanced degree.

  • 5+ years of successfulexperience in finance or related field and successful demonstration of keyresponsibilities and knowledge as presented above.

  • Advanced computer skills (MSExcel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial reporting software.

  • Excellent communication,writing and reporting skills to effectively communicate financial information.

  • Strong appreciation for theimportance of ensuring accuracy in all levels of financial reporting.

  • Ability and desire to plan,control, and contribute to solving complex problems.

  • Self-driven and resourceful tomeet deadlines, achieve goals, work independently as well as in teams.

  • Flexibility to multi-task andadjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities – ability towork under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Proven critical thinking skillsand ability to apply technical guidelines to complex accounting problems.
