What responsibilities will you have?
Primary responsibilities include transforming data into actionable client-centric business intelligence;
Perform hands on analysis of data to access and deliver customer insights that shape and support practical strategic initiatives in digital, operations, and marketing;
Perform behavioural and demographic analysis of the customer database, identifying key insights, critical client target groups, and performance analyses of marketing initiatives;
Develop insights and strategies to measure, analyze and drive customer acquisition, retention and reactivation;
Perform customer segmentation analytics;
Execute weekly/monthly/quarterly standard reporting and lead the development of custom reporting and dashboards, identifying further KPIs to help drive the business;
Ensure processes, tools, and documentation are in place to support efficient and consistent data analysis
Support Manager and Senior Manager, Innovation & New Business Models in:
Translating findings into clear, easy-to-understand insights, communicating verbally and visually through compelling written documents and PowerPoint presentations;
Succinctly and effectively presenting and articulating the business value of complicated analyses to a diverse group of stakeholders.
Some Experience with data architecture designs for cloud native data management to support delivery of:
- Popular Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Data architecture design patterns
Data Layers (e.g. raw, curated)
Integration design (e.g. APIs), ETL (Extract, Transform & Load), velocity (e.g. streaming)
Policies & standards for structured, semi- and unstructured data use.
Some Experience with the data architecture designs for cloud native data management with focus to define and implement:
- Business process flows to support data sourcing & lineage
Data Modelling methodologies & tools
(Business) Data Definitions & Metadata
Reference Data Management
Master Data Management (core & critical business data entities)
Implement the data management solution(s) utilising the latest technology and leading practices with special focus to:
- Data Quality Rules & KPIs
Automated Data Cleansing (e.g. use of AI / ML)
Compliance Rules & KPIs
Compliance & security policies for data access, use & integration.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
3+ years of experience in Data Analysis (Demonstrated experience analyzing large data sets and generating reports that identify patterns) , Database Marketing, Customer Analytics, Business Intelligence
Strong technical, analytical and statistical competencies required, with a strong working knowledge of retail math and Excel;
Advanced proficiency in Excel required (i.e. macros, pivot tables, v-look ups);
Technical - strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
Expertise with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Microstrategy, Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos etc.;
Experience working with web analytics tools like Google Analytics
Excellent communication skills;
High capacity to multi-task and prioritize;
Strong ability to find solutions and deliver timely resolutions;
Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming tasks and shifting priorities;•
A minimum of 2 years in any of the following roles:
- working as a Data Analysis consultant or directly with clients leveraging popular tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc.
that had taken ownership of an data analysis outcome for the organization to provide users with insights for business decision making,
facilitating basic data management tasks – data governance, data discovery, process enhancement, data cleansing and enrichment through data de-duplication and construction,
What academic qualifications do you need?
BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar field; Master’s degree is a plus
