Position: Unit Concierge
Location: Evanston Hospital – Evanston, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Per diem position
Hours: Hours will be scheduled as needed. Scheduled 2-40 hours per week, as needed to support team absences. Hours can be scheduled Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 9 PM
What you will need:
Education: High school diploma required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of customer service work experience.
Skills: Excellent customer service skills. Positive friendly attitude. Basic computer skills. Ability to multi-task at fast paced front desks
What you will do:
Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments
Assist and direct patients and visitors in finding their appointments
Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, transport patients in wheelchairs or provide walking escort to/from appointments, deliver flowers and packages.
