Position Title: Manager, Quality Programs

Location: Malta, NYMaltaNY, USA

Summary of Role: This position has responsibility forGLOBALFOUNDRIEScorporate quality programs. The Manager, Quality Programs will work with the quality departments of all GLOBALFOUNDRIES fabrication sites and business units in order to coordinate on key issues and will manage cross-functional teams to solve these issues. The Manager, Quality Program Manager will establish and administer programs and guide the staff to improve company standardization and conformance an Advanced Quality Management System. The Manager, Quality Programs will function as the point for resolution of issues and continuous improvement with the Fab Quality teams, manage and drive quality standard work through project management working with FAB Quality, Engineering, Operations, IT and others to standardize and improve the overall Quality Systems of GLOBALFOUNDRIES.

Essential Responsibilities: * Lead a cross-functional team in a matrixed environment to develop Implement Quality business processes by developing global KPIs, inventorying existing systems, assessing gaps and opportunities for improvement, collecting stakeholder and customer feedback and ensuring robust business process management (BPM). * Ensure that Quality business processes and systems span the entirety of GLOBALFOUNDRIES enterprise. * Drive business improvement and adherence to quality standards (ISO, IATF & AS) by functioning as the point for resolution of issues and continuous improvement. * Work with both internal and third-party suppliers of software solutions to ensure standardization across FABs while meeting the diverse needs of a global organization. * Lead and project manage key transformation activities and assist in organizational alignment. * Set goals, track & drive key performance indicators for entire upstream Quality group. * Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs*

* Required Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science or a relevant technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications: * MBA * Experience in manufacturing environment. * Lean/ Six Sigma certification. * Working knowledge of ISO/IATF/AS quality systems, SPC & TQM concepts. * Demonstrated excellent analytical skills. * Solid knowledge of project management skills to manage complex projects across multiple disciplines. * Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization, particularly in a global environment and experience in working with external constituencies. * Good knowledge of wafer fabrication/integration process. * Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs. * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
