What we're looking for:

You are an expert in software testing methodologies. You have worked and tested the best of the breed applications or systems. You come with very strong analytical and problem solving skills to projects that are enterprise level, involves multiple software & components, complex and challenging.

Position Overview

You will test Citrix’s production software of moderate complexity with various new third party software, including updates for the underlying software infrastructure to ensure quality through the use of systematic tests. You will develop, modify and evaluate software test plans used to design, implement, test, and optimize software on multiple projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for planning and executing functional and system level tests for products across OS platforms to test various features.

  • You will write test plans and test cases for one or more medium to large functional areas.

  • Will set up test environments, executes tests, records results and defects, and works with developers to reproduce problems and get them resolved.

  • Will build out interdependent test beds, and can write effective plans based off of functional, design and requirements specification.

  • You will write effective manual test cases depending on group specific requirements

  • Will oversee software defect tracking and regression for identified project release.

  • You will be responsible for integrity of technical quality control work on assigned projects and communicates with team to maintain functionality, and efficacy.

  • Will use the right quality control tools to uncover defects and discover the state of the code.

  • You will follow prescribed software engineering and test processes, procedures and customer use cases.

Basic Qualifications

  • You will have Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science engineering or related fields.

  • You will have at least 2+ years of experience in software development and Testing

  • Will have proficiency in Windows OS (Install, configure) and good networking knowledge.

  • Have working knowledge of Hypervisors and Virtualization.

  • You should have the ability to research on new products with low or no documentation, and derive a test plan and strategy to run compatibility tests with Citrix software.

  • Have proficiency in troubleshooting issues and has a good problem solving skill.

  • You have knowledge of various testing methodologies.

  • Are proficient in any scripting language like Powershell, Python.

  • Have good understanding of Automation Frameworks.

  • Have experience working in an Agile (preferably scrum) environment and knowledge of tools (GIT, JIRA etc.)
