ERPi Senior Program Consultant in United States
ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Senior Program Consultant to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), requires professional support services to assist VHA and the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Health (PDUSH)—who is accountable for specific health care programs enabling and supporting virtually every aspect of patient care provided to Veterans-- with the development, administration, and management of various emerging initiatives, some of which are legislatively mandated.
ERPi provides services of a cadre of highly knowledgeable and experienced personnel (program management and program implementation resources; health systems subject matter experts; communication experts; budget analysts; and program analysts) to provide direct expert recommendations and to support the further development and provision of program management best practices, program implementation, program evaluation, change management implementation, and business processes, standards, and procedures under the auspice of the various emerging programs including the effort to develop a High Reliability Organization.
The Program Analyst will work with HRO Program partners and other stakeholders to ensure activities are scheduled and accomplished in a strategic and timely fashion. Program Analysts assist with scheduling and logistics for Site Visits, Collaboratives, and Training sessions. Program Analysts will track and oversee implementation of process improvement activities within health care facilities and will monitor progress on the development of facility-level HRO programs.
In some instances, the Program Analyst shall assist VHA in executing program operations to meet the previously established goals and objectives. In addition, the Program Analyst shall provide input on the program evaluation and improvement of the organization and management of projects and programs to increase productivity/program performance. The Program Analyst shall also assist VHA in development of program reports.
- 8+ years proven work experience in a federal sector consulting or in a large Health Care System
- Understanding of patient safety topics
- Understanding and proven application of project management best practices such as PMI’s PMBOK
- Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proven experience developing detailed project plans, project budgets, resource plans, and risk management plans
Additional Skills Desired
- Extensive experience in a large scale Government Integrated Health Care System with substantive programs focused on Veterans health care and outreach
- Health Care Process Improvement
- Instructional Design and Training
Education and Certifications Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- PMP Certification desirable
