Job Description

Development & Execution of local Tactical Marketing Plans

  • Leads the in-country Franchise Team and ensures the team develops and executes local market plans in line with International (WE) marketing plans.

  • Contributes to the development of International (Europe) marketing strategy with the International (Europe) marketing team and acts as the co-ordinating and communications link between the International (Europe) Brand Team and the in-country Franchise Team.

  • Develops local market plan in line with International (Europe) marketing strategy strategy and agrees with Local BUD, also agreeing split of promotional budget between local programs within country to achieve local market objectives.

  • Identifies clear roles and responsibilities for delivery of local marketing tactics and agrees with the HCME and local BUD. Communicates the roles and responsibilities to relevant stakeholders including Sales Programme Coordinator, Sales Management, Agencies.

  • Tracks implementation of activities in the local market plan working with agencies and country team to ensure timely and effective execution.

  • Reviews implementation of the local market plan and feeds back to International (Europe) marketing team. Monitors local competitor activities (spending time in field to understand the local market) and ensures local organisation and International (Europe) marketing are kept up to date.

  • Trains country sales force in the execution of market programs and use of materials.

  • Manage local KOL development plans, local Congresses and New Indication launches to ensure alignment with local Business Plan, International (Europe) marketing strategy and Congress/AMI plans.

Management and Delivery of Promotional Materials

  • Collaborate with local Sales Programs team to ensure International (Europe) promotional materials, Congress and HCP Training materials and Trimester promotional materials are managed through local regulatory approval process and are translated and delivered in line with International (Europe) marketing strategy and local market plan.

  • Reports on effectiveness of local materials and activities to agree local amendments with International (Europe) marketing team and BUD.

Sales and Budget Objectives

  • Collaborates with local team to identify and implement all effective action necessary towards achievement of agreed sales targets for country.

  • Anticipates competitor strategy, makes recommendations to local BUD and develops counter-plans.

  • Manages promotional budget to maximum effect ensuring effective spend to deliver sales and profit targets.


  • University Degree or equivalent (preferably Business/Marketing or Science).

  • 3-5 Marketing experience needed.

  • Experience of Pharmaceutical / Healthcare / Aesthetics industry.

  • Sales and/or Sales Management experience preferred.

  • Fluency in local language and in English (written and verbal).

  • Project management skills.

  • Good analytical skills.
