The Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill is recruiting for a fixed term, clinical faculty member. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction for residents and dental students, participation in the Dental Faculty Practice, as well as maxillofacial call coverage at UNC Hospitals and UNC Adams School of Dentistry. Numerous opportunities for collaboration exist within the dental school (including the maxillofacial pain program), UNC Healthcare, Thurston Arthritis Center and throughout the University.
Education and Experience:
Candidate must be board-certified or eligible as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. An interest in temporomandibular joint surgery and temporomandibular dysfunction management is a requirement. A past record of scholarly activity is desirable and the pursuit of scholarly activity is expected.
