Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Finance Manager, the Marketing Financial Analyst will be an important member of the FP&A team. The Financial Analyst should be excited to investigate trends, convey results, and improve processes in partnership with the Marketing organization.
Help tell the story of Ping's performance, specifically: conducting month-end close functions including reporting, variance analysis, and communication of relevant business matters;
Manage the Pipeline model; find opportunities to improve the Pipeline model to support trend analysis and influence strategic decisions;
Support the Marketing function in managing cost and headcount requests and serve as a financial expert, including performing analysis of the impacts of operating decisions;
Collaborate across teams to prepare and communicate insightful results to partners, including monitoring important metrics and highlighting trends;
Improve upon existing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and operating processes, driving automation and simplification;
Lead the annual financial planning process for the Marketing department, partnering with FP&A team members to implement best practices and maximize efficiencies.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of Corporate FP&A experience, or at least 3 years of accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
Working knowledge of accounting principles
