MINDBODY Marketing Content Specialist in United States


Responsible for overseeing strategic planning, development and implementation and measurement of marketing messaging programs promoting business plans, management communications and the company products aligning with sales and business objectives. Direct partnerships with management, business units, sales, outside agencies or other stakeholders for a unified messaging strategy.


This position produces content to increase Mindbody’s brand including: web copy, blog posts, product descriptions, social media content, educational whitepapers, client case studies, marketing webinars, infographics, public-facing data reports, tradeshow presentations, industry articles and videos designed to expand Mindbody’s digital footprint, increase engagement and drive leads.


• BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, technical certification or equivalent 4+ years related experience

• Proven track record for creating, launching, and driving successful Marketing Content campaigns across demand generation and lifecycle channels

• Excellent overall writing skills in several different styles/tones, including for both B2B and B2C audiences

*Impeccable spelling and professional knowledge of English grammar

• Strong familiarity with various forms of style and composition

• Strong understanding of search engine optimization

• A passion for understanding business owners and consumers and what motivates them online

• Strong research, organizational, and ability to meet deadlines in fast paced environment

• Able to support creative decisions, understand strategy, and draft original, compelling copy

• Able to take on responsibility, collaborate effectively, and work comfortably with stakeholders at various levels

• Able to make resourcing recommendations and prioritize projects to meet day-to-day deliverables


• Create content that delivers high-impact targeted results, including acquisition, retention, and engagement goals.

• Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site.

• Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, videos, podcasts, infographics, guides, and webinars.

• Manage content calendars and libraries.

• Use content management systems and looks to improve effectiveness.

• Aligns campaigns to promote the company blog, pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms.

• Edit content produced by other members of the team.

• Manages analytics and reporting to drive content prioritization.

• Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content.

• Design campaigns to attract new business clients to our platform, new consumers to our client’s businesses and to our consumer-facing products and nurturing current customers across a multitude of channels.

• Responsible for increasing awareness of the Mindbody brand and products across all target markets.

• All other duties as assigned


• This role regularly utilizes a computer, including the use of a monitor, mouse and keyboard.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.


Duties are performed under limited supervision. Often responsible for planning and organizing their own work, which may or may not be directly related to general business operations of the company or its customers. Will receive training and guidance from manager as needed. Individual contributors may be required to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance depending on the nature of the position. No direct management responsibility.
