Northshore University Hospital Manager, Physician Assistants in United States
Position:Physician Assistant Manager
*Location: *Highland Park Hospital
*Full Time/Part Time: *Full-Time (40hrs/wk)
*Hours: *Mostly Monday to Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM but may cover weekend shifts as needed; On-Calls may be required.
*Required Travel: *May cover hours at all hospital sites
What you will need*:
License: *Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required. *
Education:Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
*Certification: *CPR certification required
Experience: Minimum of five years of Physician Assistant experience required & Minimum of two years of prior Supervisory experience required.
What you will do:
- Be responsible for directing the business and clinical operations of the NorthShore Physician Assistants
- Primarily focus on Budget Management, Performance Reviews, Staffing Management and Leadership representation at Hospital specific meets
- Enforce the policies and procedures of NorthShore University Health System
- Perform independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established
