The Digital Sales Manager is an integral member of our Inside Digital Sales Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of tele-sales professionals to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals and generate new logo pipeline for all Citrix solutions and product lines. The Manager understands and thrives in a setting managing the motion to acquire new business, and can demonstrate a successful history of such. This individual is responsible for overseeing that their team is effectively generating, supporting and advancing the sales opportunities of their assigned area, including effective working relationships with internal Citrix resources and the Channel. The Manager is also responsible for driving the professional development of their sales staff including mentorship, training and performance evaluation. The position requires the ability to multi-task between team members in their support of various customers, partners, sales opportunities, and other initiatives. The Manager acts as an enabler to remove both internal and external challenges in support of sales opportunities, provides continuous coaching to help move opportunities through the Stage Based Selling process, and guides all reps in building effective territory planning and strategies to reach attainment goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Has experience leading remote teams of up to 10 Digital Sales representatives.

  • Monitors sales rep productivity in support of their account and territory development. Leverages applicable data sources to track KPIs and growth.

  • Leads the Inside Sales team in following sales methodology and best practices including effectively using Salesforce.com to manage territory, as well as other enablement tools available to the team.

  • Provides ongoing mentorship to sales reps to teach appropriate prospecting techniques, key account management, and general account maintenance.

  • Meets regularly with each rep to review: sales call activity, lead follow up, account reviews, prospecting and performance, competitive losses/wins, personnel issues and personal/professional developmental opportunities.

  • Guides sales reps on how to manage key relationships in the Channel and work closely with the Field and other internal Citrix resources.

  • Acts as a point of escalation for customers and channel partners and assists inside sales strategies.

  • Manages appropriate pipeline and forecast and ensures accurately reflected in Salesforce.com; is aware of all top deals in their area and can provide details on status and close plan.

  • Ability to work remotely with sales reps to assess prospective customer challenges, formulate relevant solutions and present the solution effectively.

Basic Requirements

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of inside sales telesales sales management experience, (preferably in the Information Technology area)

  • Track record of success in the Greenfield selling motion (new logos)

  • Is a champion for building world-class culture!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in inside sales telesales environment with complex technical business solutions and strong understanding of business drivers for line of Business solutions

  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite, CRM (preferably Salesforce.com), and other sales enablement tools

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as, excellent presentation skills. Has ability to lead meetings internally and externally including executive briefings

  • Self-motivation, self-management and professionalism with advanced organizational, negotiation, problem solving skills and team building skills

  • Experience in Information Technology industry
