SAIC GPOI - TEAM LEAD (TL) - Cote d’Ivoire in United States
SAIC is seeking a GPOI - TEAM LEAD (TL)/”Country Manager ” in Cote d’Ivoire to support the US State Department's GPOI (Global Peace Operations Initiative) training program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the Program Manager’s primary point of contact forcontract execution, coordination, and management of GPOI task order activities.
Primary interface with the US Embassy, Partner Nationmilitary leadership, US military and international trainers, and otherstakeholders associated with task order execution.
Manages personnel assignments across training tasks;maintains professional standards of accountability, quality, and effectiveness;monitors conduct and discipline and tracks the movement of his or her teammembers traveling to, working in, and departing from the host country; andensures the conduct and quality of all task order activities.
Required Education and Experience:
HS/GED and 19 years of experience OR Bachelors and 15years of related experience OR Masters and 13 years of experience; OR PhD or JDand 4 years or more experience.
15 years of military operations experience, whichincludes service after September 11, 2001.
Attainment of military grade of E9 or O-4 and higher,
Demonstrated experience as a senior mentor/advisor to asenior foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacitybuilding and unit-level assessments.
Relevant military operations or foreign security force(police or military) training experience in the last 5 years.
Regional Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa.
French language proficiency (2:2)
Experience in organizational development, conductingactivities intended to drive institutional improvement and self-sufficientorganizational change.
Experience as trained and certified Foreign Area Officer(FAO) with regionally focused expertise, including in an Office of SecurityCooperation or DoD Attaché Office and/or
Commanded a combat arms battalion level unit (combat armsis defined as armor, cavalry, engineer, field artillery, or special forces) inthe U.S. or NATO military land forces that will allow that individual to bestsupport the task order objectives and goals while mentoring the training centerstaff, battalion staff, and battalion leadership and/or
Experience in a U.S. or NATO military training anddoctrine development organization, or permanent assignment to a U.S. or foreignmilitary training school or combat training center.
