What we're looking for:

The Global Procurement Manager is tasked with a complex role in driving strategic and operational excellence through the application of various procurement levers. The Global Procurement Manager, in the context of Citrix, will have multiple procurement delivery projects with verifying degrees of complexity, scope, scale, value and risk at any given time, and the interaction with key internal business partners including the executive leadership sponsors. The role translates into action, and ensures that Citrix has the most appropriate end-to-end Sourcing, Contracting, Spend/Demand Management, Supplier Value Optimization, Procure-to-Pay and /or Operational Optimization solution(s) designed to achieve optimum commercial value for Citrix across the enterprise.

Position Overview

As Global Procurement Manager, you will develop and modify strategies, plans and tactics through the analysis of complex data from a range of sources, which will be utilized to identify solutions aligned to business needs and the applicable Category Strategy.

You will be able to pivot and adapt easily, as the role is not the same in every project nor are the levers to be applied to optimize the value delivery.

Accountabilities:

  • Value Development & Planning - The development of appropriate end-to-end Procurement Value Lever Strategies endorsed by key business partners and Global Category Lead.

  • Business Integration and Execution - Business value optimization and delivery of the Value Lever Strategies.

  • Relationship Management - Collaborating with internal business partners & suppliers; the segmentation, communication, engagement, business review planning, problem resolution, and general ongoing relationship management efforts for assigned projects.

  • Insights Development – The gathering of insights from data analysis, research, intelligence, knowledge, networking and proposals for assigned projects.

  • Governance – Leading and adhering to governance structures, and other relevant Citrix and Citrix Procurement business policies & procedures for assigned projects.

  • Operationalization – The operationalization of Value Lever Strategies, Procurement Programs, i.e., Supplier Value Optimization, Preferred Supplier, Cash Retention, Contracts, Risk Mitigation, Buying Channels, Supplier Enablement, etc.

  • People Leadership - Leading cross-functional project teams and coordinating change management.

  • Prioritization and Planning - Identification of business requirements and cross-organizational knowledge to prioritize, enhance collaboration and leverage the highest value opportunities in order of priority.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Formulate Citrix-Wide Value Lever Strategies that drive identified business strategies & objectives, achieve value delivery and to provide commercial and functional leadership for assigned projects;

  • Articulate Business Needs to ensure the highest levels of: i) assurance of supply, ii) quality, iii) service delivery, iv) market competitive costs, v) innovation, and vi) regulatory compliance;

  • Lead Implementation of Value Lever Strategies within the context of assigned projects to drive improvement aligned to business needs and of assigned Procurement Change Initiatives to improve business performance;

  • Liaise with Citrix’s Business Leaders in investigation and delivery of opportunities to achieve optimum business value aligned with business strategies. Build strong relationships with business partners and ensure satisfaction with Procurement services;

  • Develop the Capabilities of cross-functional category teams for delivery, governance, scalable practices to lead Value Lever Project Teams;

  • Support Category Managers in executing cost reduction strategies, lead sourcing events, lead supplier evaluation and selection, support new supplier onboarding

  • Act as the Lead Commercial Interface between the business and suppliers by defining and executing the preparation, negotiation & management of specific agreements, contracts, quotes & proposals and resulting supplier relationships;

  • Perform Procurement Reporting and Analysis of management information to identify potential improvement opportunities; and,

  • Support Director of Indirect Procurement in planning and executing procurement transformation

  • Support Guided Buying team in operationalizing negotiated contracts and agreements, working with vendors and procurement resources to set up catalogs and other IT solutions to increase efficiency and compliance

  • Provide Assistance to Citrix’s merger & acquisition strategies and special projects by completing the due diligence and any integration activities for assigned projects.

Basic Requirements
