The event manager will be responsible for crafting events for educators. These events will range from high-level exposure events to events crafted to close business with potential and current partners. Sound like you? Please read on!
Responsibilities and Duties
Conducts the long- and short-term planning for events to understand the purpose for each event and thatWaterford.orgstays true to its brand while achieving its goals.
Orchestrates Annual Partner Summit event to maintain and build lasting relationships
Build an experience for event attendees in both digital and in-person events.
Handles and coordinates event details.
Coordinates all phases of events, including but not limited to planning, marketing, servicing, and any administrative procedures.
Maintains impact and return on investment data for all events.
Maintain an events budget
Qualifications and Skills
Proven track record in running events (3-5 years)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
Background in using Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress, CrazyEgg, Adobe Suite, Excel Skills, SurveyGizmo, and Eventbrite (or comparable programs)
Background or training in social media
Ability to provide outstanding service to our partners
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
