Chevron Corporation Airplane Pilot in United States

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position through March 8, 2020 at 12:00a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Pilots will always observe the highest levels of safety, complete pre and post flight inspections, and serve as the Pilot-in-Command for assigned aircraft as required. The Pilot has direct responsibility for the safety of passengers and crew, and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. Ensures that flight and ground operations comply with all Federal and company regulations. Analyze weather conditions and make decisions regarding possible delays, re-routing or flight cancellations. Participate in collateral duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Observe the highest levels of safety at all times

  • Maintain required qualifications and proficiency

  • Complete pre and post flight inspections

  • Ability to perform pilot-in-command duties

  • Perform collateral duties and projects

  • After-hours, holidays, and weekend work may be required

  • Job necessitates flying on a routine basis

Required Qualifications:

  • Highly Safety Sensitive Position

  • 2,000 hours multi-engine flight time

  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating

  • EFIS/EICAS/FMS experience

  • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-placement Non-DOT drug and alcohol screening, background check, PRIA (Pilot Records Information Act of 1996) screening, pre-employment physical, functional capacity examination, as well as pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2,000 hours multi-engine flight time

  • 200 hours flight time in previous 12 months

  • 4,000 hours total pilot time

  • 1,250 Jet PIC flight time

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • International experience

  • Embraer Legacy 450/500 and/ or Praetor 600 experience
