Google Industry Manager, eCommerce, Large Customer Sales in Singapore

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa/travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from Singapore due to lockdown visa/travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected. We're keeping the situation under review and would adjust our position should the restrictive measures be removed later on.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in a commercial roles (eg. business development, sales, partnerships).

  • Experience in sales, business development, agreement closure and project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree.

  • Experience in business development, client relationship and servicing skills, and consultative selling.

  • Excellent project management, sales and deal-closing skills.

  • Established network of contacts and considerable sales experience within the media and agency space.

  • Effective and refined analytical toolkit, with willingness to dive deep and use creative approaches to prove solutions through data.

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Industry Manager, you'll help to provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions to some of Google's largest partners. You will drive and grow new and existing business with Google’s advertisers by negotiating, then program managing the execution of Joint Business Plans across various Google products and services, regions, countries and local teams and channels.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Build relationships with C-level contacts across the industry in order to proactively and creatively solve client challenges while directly influencing budget planning.

  • Manage business growth and drive the utilization of Google as the media channel for our partners; Develop business plans and strategy for the portfolio. Connect the dots between the needs of the industry to sales and solve for the unique challenges in mobile B2C businesses.

  • Work with broader ecosystem stakeholders (Venture Capital Funds and Startup Accelerators etc.) in order to identify strategic partnership opportunities and advocate Google as a true business partner beyond just media.

  • Act as a key source of advice for other team members on the industry and coach junior team members on business planning and development.
