Facebook Escalations Specialist, Business Integrity in Singapore

The Risk & Response Escalations Team coordinates across different internal and external teams to help intelligently scale enforcement and application of Facebook's policies across products like Pages, Ads, & Marketplace. Our team focuses on identifying areas for improvement, optimizing processes, solving challenging problems, and most importantly, helping to prevent them in future. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive impact and strengthen user trust on Facebook and Instagram.The Escalations Team is looking for a specialist with a focus on Business Integrity to help Facebook build a high-quality commerce ecosystem for people around the world. We are seeking a team-oriented problem solver who can build strong relationships and thrives in ambiguity. You work well in high-pressure situations, and quickly implement activating partners and subject matter experts as needed. You communicate clearly to various stakeholders and provide key updates and findings as high priority escalations unfold.

Required Skills:

  1. Investigate reported escalations across multiple channels on Facebook and Instagram

  2. Respond to escalated user/press/partner inquiries with high quality, speed, and accuracy

  3. Ability to identify gray areas in policies and gaps in processes, and use excellent judgment to resolve those issues

  4. Interpret and enforce relevant Facebook/Instagram Community standards and policies

  5. Develop and implement scalable solutions to support our global processes

  6. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve Community Standards enforcement, quality, reporting and tools

  7. Collaborate with policy and product teams to drive continuous process improvements in the interest of improving user experience

  8. Remain up to date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates and Community Standards

  9. Please note that some weekend and holiday work will be required on a shift basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of experience in online operations, project management or online escalations environment

  2. Cross-functional and partnership skills

  3. Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences

  4. Ability to drive high priority cases through process of resolution

  5. Conflict management skills, negotiation skills and a sense of urgency

  6. Ability to work with traumatic, sensitive and potentially offensive content

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

  2. Ability to use and learn tools like SQL and Excel to drive analytics and reporting

  3. Bilingual experience

  4. Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and globally

  5. Understanding of Facebook Community Standards and policies
