Avantor, Inc. Sr. Strategic Marketing Specialist in Poland

Job SummaryThe position is designed to support the Strategy and Market Development team in Biopharma Production with analysis and implementation of global marketing strategies that support the expansion of the direct materials product lines with Biopharma Production customers globally.

In this role you can work remotely from Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France or Poland.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively drive new and existing product initiatives with sales specialists & regional sales leadership enhancing a customer centric solution selling approach.

  • Establish and maintain the program management methodology with assigned new product introductions (NPI) by managing project templates / action plans with NPI functional owners inclusive of tracking milestones, interdependencies, and communication plans.

  • Thoroughly understands target customer needs, leads market segmentation and definition of value propositions by scientific application.

  • Evaluating and developing our global go-to-market marketing strategies and plans and working closely with Marcom team for execution.

  • Provide training for Sales Specialists/BRMs on market trends/products

  • Continuously monitors and analyzes key customer, competitor, and technical trends. Develops and provides recommendations to management.

  • Produces proactive analysis and competitive intelligence regarding Biopharma Production direct materials industry, supports includes understanding competitive pricing & key product lines and launches, and potential unmet needs in the market.

  • Develops ideas for thought leadership and technical content for articles, promotions, articles.

  • Develops presentations for sales team, SLT team, and executive team which outline company position, Business Unit reviews, product line offerings, training and other presentations as required.

  • Works collectively with Strategy and Commercial teams in developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans for the growth of the direct material product lines.

  • Outlines clear value propositions which differentiate our products from competitors in the marketplace.

  • Attends major industry trade shows to learn about recent applicable scientific product developments.

  • Use market intelligence to fine-tune/ adapt programs for the commercial selling organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, project-based based on emerging opportunities for the business where the employee’s capabilities are seen fit-to-contribute.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or equivalent/applicable experience

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing within the Biopharma Production space

  • 5+ years of marketing and/or sales experience preferably focused on the biopharma market segment

  • Experience in leadership of initiatives involving organizational change, process restructuring or system implementation

  • Proficient in the methods, techniques and tools for planning, resourcing and monitoring of project activities including advance use and knowledge of MS Office – PMP Certification an asset

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and cooperate successfully with staff from different countries and thus from different cultures

  • Ability to teach and transfer skills to team leaders, team members, and general audiences

  • Some travel required
