Poland Boss: Project Manager

With broad direction, responsible for managing all on site functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company on medium-sized projects (typically 250,000 to 2 million construction man hours or building projects of $15 to $75 million). The Project Manager oversees all operations, provides leadership to the staff, and ensures that contract requirements are met to the satisfaction of the client and customer. Responsibilities include project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, financial management, owner/architect/engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required Owner and in-house reporting. Possesses a working knowledge of the respective industry. Supervises all personnel at the site, through subordinate leaders. Serve as the proposal manager for Requests for Proposal and Contractor Initiated Proposals. Position serves as a key contact point between the customer and KBR, and between KBR's executive management and the project. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering or related field and 10-15 years of related experience.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience supporting Navy projects or military service in the US Navy

  • Must be a US citizen and possess a US Passport

  • Must be able to obtain a US Secret Clearance

  • Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity

  • Familiarity with Cost Reimbursable type contracts

  • Effective planning, organizing and directing skills with strong decision making capabilities

  • Capacity to interact with staff and customers at all levels

  • Ensures operations are accomplished according to customer requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
