The Role The Tech Enterprise Architect role within Oracle Consulting offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with the class-leading Oracle Cloud. Your role would be to work with customers to architect and design their cloud architecture. You will be involved in finding, creating, and closing new Oracle (consulting) opportunities. After that you will deliver consulting activities at our customers This can be hands-on prototyping, advisory work or project guidance. You will be at the forefront of strategic cloud technology and business modernisation discussions. As a Tech Enterprise Architect you will be part of our Benelux Tech consulting team located in Utrecht, Brussels or Luxembourg. What You’ll Do In your role you as a Tech Enterprise Architect you will: + Work on client-billable and pre-sales assignments to architect the customer specific (Oracle) infrastructure + Work with Oracle sales and delivery colleagues to position and deliver the right technology and consulting services to maximize customer’s success in the most effective and efficient manner + Lead our large customers through all phases of the implementation project lifecycle + Guide business stakeholders through workshops and help them defining solutions that meet their objectives – be the advocate for their business and technology needs + Help us become the number one cloud company in the world through their enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity We are looking for someone who: + Has a deep passion for Oracle technology, a love of learning new things and helping customers reach success + Is comfortable operating in a fast-paced evolving environment + Posesses strong critical thinking and communication skills + Has a proven track record of success developing and deploying creative technical solutions to business problems for or within large enterprise organizations + Is able to inspire, engage and influence customers at Sr IT/LOB/C-Level Job Requirements + Experience in architecting and designing IT solutions that span a range of technologies e.g. (cloud) infrastructure, database, and middleware. + Comfortable at presenting and defending IT solutions to our customers at C-level, IT-management and subject matter experts. + Able to provide technical coordination during projects, and able to delegate work to subject matter experts + Experience with working in multi-disciplinary account teams + Experience in responding to (formal) customer offers for tender + Cloud experience with any vendor + Fluent in Dutch and English + Appreciated are: + TOGAF knowledge + OCI certification or alternatively AWS or Azure certifications + Knowledge of Oracle Technology like WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Database + Proficiency in French Detailed Description and Job Requirements As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack. 8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
