Job Description

Job Title: Compliance Coordinator

Country: Mexico

Primary Job Function/Mission

  • Implement and follow-up of the Affiliate Compliance Program according to Area and corporate requirements, and aligned to local laws and regulations.

  • Ensure Compliance Policies and Procedures are in place, to promote adherence and help in minimizing business risks.

  • Implement Training and Education Program for the Affiliate according to global requirements and local needs.

  • Ensure Monitoring implementation and remediation plans to identify areas of opportunity, root causes and preventive and corrective measures and completion of the same.

  • Follow up on deviations and investigations concerning potential non-compliance matters related to the Code of Business Conduct and other Compliance Policies and Guidance.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Generate and implement training strategies to keep all relevant functions of the company trained on Compliance Policies and Code of Business Conduct. Follow up certifications in Code of Business Conduct and others courses including global and also local training programs. Collaborate in the coordination of Affiliate Compliance Insights Forum (ACIF -Compliance Committe) meetings, take minutes and follow-up on agreed actions.

  • Advice the business related to the approval process of sponsorships, donations and any other promotional and non-promotional activities to ensure adherence to Compliance Policies. Provide business guidance with respect to the execution or operational aspects of activities, programs and events including with respect to engagement of HCPs, interactions with external stakeholder, including private and public payers and interactions with patients and patient groups, as well as due diligence process with third parties. Preliminary review of potential exceptions and deviations to Compliance Policies.

  • Support and advise Affiliate Brand Teams and In-field teams as needed and in the implementation of programs and strategies aligned with Compliance Policies.

  • Connect and collaborate with Latin America Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) colleagues to team work projects, share best practices, and identify areas of improvement

Supervisory / Management Responsibilities

Compliance in Mexico Affiliate

No direct reports. This position reports directly to the Mexico Compliance Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

College – Degree of finance, economics, business administration, accounting or legal areas.

Bilingual

Minimum Experience / Training Required

• 2 years of experience in a pharma compliance related field.

• Desired experience in training, monitoring, audit and investigations.
