Vectrus ESH Instructor in Kuwait
ESH Instructor is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the ESH Training Program, instructing ESH courses to include; OSHA 510, OSHA 511, and HAZWOPER. ESH instructors will develop courses in accordance with Federal, State, and local requirments. Instructors will develop, review, and present ESH topics/courses both virtual and classroom hands-on, evaluating the students overall performance or competency, tracking the completion of courses, and provding assistance to leadership for special ESH training.

Conducts professional presentation of ESH course topics, evaluates students’ comprehension of materials covered through written and/or verbal testing and hands on evaluation of skills developed to ensure competencies are achieved.
Develops, maintains and updates course presentation plans and training modules to ensure the subject content is maintained to the current industry standards and it includes all local policy/requirements.
Enroll program participants, monitors program effectiveness, tracks attendance, maintain training records, and prepare periodic reports.
Develops and implements Environmental, Safety, and Health training procedures, as required, to maintain an effective training program and ensure a safe working environment throughout the contract.
Revises and updates training policies and procedures as required.
Performs applicable certification/re-certification of personnel.
Develops statistical information (data analysis) to support leaderships decisions and proposals.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor / management.
Performs responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and other applicable regulations.
Education/Certifications: Two-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
BS degree in Environmental, Safety, and Health / Education or related fields is required, or must have related experience of at least 6 years experience in professional training. Must be an OSHA outreach trainer qualified in OSHA 501 and/or OSHA 500 instruction. Certificates must be current. Experience instructing Hazardous Waste operations is a plus.
Must be experience in the field of training. Comprehensive knowledge of Federal / Military ESH laws, regulations and guidelines as it relates industry standards. Must be a seasoned instructor and able to communicate in English effectively to all levels of management and staff.
Must be team oriented; possess excellent organizational, time management and writing skills to include analyses. Must be computer and software literate, experienced in Microsoft applications, and an expert in presenting instruction.
Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
