The Marketing Executive is a crucial role within the marketing department and will assist and provide support to the Marketing & Communications Manager in the hotel marketing, branding, digital and social media tactics and actions. Specifically supporting in three primary fields: Design, Social Media & Digital. To guarantee success in this role, the ideal candidate must have an understanding of how to develop and implement digital, print and social design assets, content marketing strategy; proven marketing relationships; strong writing skills and speaking; and the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects effectively.
You’ll need to know your stuff:
Strong English communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Organised and efficient in the management of work execution
Knowledge of overall hotel operations desirable
Skilled in Adobe Suite (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator) design applications
Capable of interpreting market data and applying to marketing strategy
Competent in executing against the F&B sales strategy & positioning of F&B outlets
Strategic and detail orientated, creative, energetic and possesses initiative
Discreet and can be trusted with confidential information
Willing to learn and take on new ideas and challenges
Knowledge and ability in developing and executing Marketing and Social Media plans
Video editing would be highly desirable
You’ll be expected to deliver on the following:
Creating and designing the hotel standard marketing materials and collateral
Responsible for all of hotel social media activity primarily centred around Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Create content including animations, gifs using Canva and other tools to be distributed online and offline through the channels.
Capture photos in our restaurants, hotels and locations for all online and offline channels
Produce graphic content for CRM and assist with copy.
Plan and strategise hotel social media activity and execute accordingly
Ensure that the brand (Renaissance Hotels) and the company (Marriott International) are kept updated on any social media activity for use on their social media outlets
Develop and maintain a creative, diversified and high-quality content strategy on our social media
Keeps up to date with social media trends, F&B, lifestyle, fashion trends and translates into the wider Social Media & Marketing strategy for St Pancras.
Responsible for content management for independent websites, hotel elevated website and other sites like Memories Made through CMS and MDS
Social media campaigns/influencer marketing – managing social media budget, social media strategy and influencer marketing strategies (reactively and proactively) in collaboration with the marketing manager
Campaign management, reporting and analysis the PPC campaigns for independent sites
Coordinate with the content creation in photoshoots and videos shoot and create photoshoot/video shoot brief and work with the operation team
To regularly review and ensure all external communication, websites, 3rd party online & collateral is up to date and relevant and delivered in a timely manner (OpenTable, Book a table, London & Partners, Time Out, Afternoontea.co.uk etc.)
Social media campaigns/influencer marketing – managing social media budget, social media strategy and influencer marketing strategies (reactively and proactively) in collaboration with the marketing and communications manager
Developing email marketing activities/newsletter, managing list and segments, email reporting and data analysis using the Marriott Local Campaign Builder Tool
Working with Marriott Digital Field Marketing team on website audits, SEO, PLUS & Travel ads for the hotel and F&B.
You’ll be expected to deliver on the following: Marketing
Maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers and nurture new ones to gain cooperation and respect in order to earn a trusted reputation
Actively keeps abreast of F&B marketing, collateral and social media efforts
Develop and roll-out an annual marketing plan in collaboration with the marketing & communications manager
Support the liaison between the F&B department and the Marketing department on the tactical F&B PR & Communications campaigns and hotel marketing plan
Support the marketing department on any marketing & social media activities surrounding Evenings at Renaissance (the hotel’s music and entertainment platform)
Maximise opportunities for F&B promotion through careful research and marketing requirements
Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity to remain relevant
Support the marketing & communications manager in any cross-promotional F&B marketing activities and digital tactics
Lead the creation and execution of F&B promotions in support of the F&B marketing calendar and develop the necessary marketing materials
Manage the execution of hotel F&B sponsored events and community activities
Oversee the co-ordination and execution of all F&B printed materials (including seasonal menu changes) whilst also controlling quantities and inventory
Pro-actively research and present to the F&B Services Manager on all F&B partnership opportunities and if agreed act as the day-to-day liaison in their execution
Support and liaison with the PR agency on any press activities and campaigns
