Oracle's Hospitality Global Business Units (GBUs) provide best-in-class products for the hospitality industry, including the number one Property Management System, OPERA PMS, which is being used by more than 40k properties world-wide across 190 countries.

The Integration Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing successful strategies that enable Oracle Hospitality Cloud applications to seamlessly connect with a variety of cloud applications, both internal within Oracle Cloud such as HCM, ERP and CX but also third-party applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with Integration Strategy leadership in understanding industry trends, defining integration visions and roadmap, and customer/partners interactions as needed

  • Creating, planning and owning (meaning being accountable for) end to end integration solutions that clearly articulate

  • Benefits to the different parties in the ecosystem (e.g. Oracle, Partners but most importantly Hoteliers and their guests)

  • Capturing and defining Functional and non-functional requirements

  • Creation and grooming of epics

  • Acceptance criteria

  • Dependencies both internal and external

  • Defining, sizing and prioritising the product backlog and their subsequent epics

  • Liaising with engineering counterparts to ensure expectations and priorities are well understood and planned for according to set priorities

  • Keeping track and reporting progress as well as being proactive in identifying risks to the delivery and mitigation actions.

Integration Senior Product Manager will have a minimum of 10 years of experiencing in the domain and must possess the following skills:

  • Architectural knowledge and understanding of iPaaS technologies

  • Experience defining and implementing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related Oracle technologies

  • Exposure to Open Source integration tools such as Apache Camel, Apache Airflow to name a few -actual experience with this tools a big plus

  • Understanding and experience with the end to end software development lifecycle and methodologies around continuous integration and delivery

  • Understanding and experience defining cloud native architectures

  • Strong communication and client facing skill

  • Experience with agile methodology

  • Passion and a genuine interest in integration technologies and product management.

This is a remote or office-based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States or Europe.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
