Otter Products Associate Demand and Supply Planner in United Kingdom

Otter Products is seeking a Demand and Supply Planner, to join our EMEA team! The Demand and Supply Planner will be responsible for deriving, loading, and maintaining accurate forecasts, achieving on time deliveries to our customers and ensuring sufficient supply to meet demand.

This otter will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on inventory levels and will be accountable for communicating key changes and exceptions to the sales and operations teams. They will play a role in and will contribute to the regional and Global Integrated Business Planning to process.

  • Manage supply to achieve on-time delivery to our customer’s requests while achieving Inventory turns goals and ensuring there is always sufficient supply to meet demand

  • Review and track inventory levels and customer demand for potential stock-outs and action accordingly

  • Provide accurate commit dates to customer requests based on supply positions

  • Provide supply related reports and detailed analysis of demand forecast to relevant teams as required

  • Work within the ERP system to maintain critical master data, planning parameters and transactional data to maintain system accuracy

  • Foster cross-functional discussion to contribute to the creation of new processes, lead projects to advance supply planning capabilities when required and improve process and/or inputs that could impact forecast.

  • Accountable for developing & maintaining an 18-to-24-month horizon demand plan for a set of skus / categories, collaborating with Product and Sales teams.

  • Key contact for all demand planning and sales forecasting communication relating to your portfolio

  • Contribute & Support with analysis for the monthly Demand Review & contribute to the regional and Global IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process.

  • A. or B.S. degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field required.

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in demand planning / supply planning role is required

  • Experience Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and / or S&OP experience is highly beneficial

  • Understanding of supply chain concepts, principles, procedures, and applications, with a passion for process improvements

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with spreadsheets, system applications and reporting tools. MS Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook are a must

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with large amount of data and creatively seek information to improve processes, find solutions to business issues, and drive resolution, in a practical and positive approach.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and proven ability to work - to tight deadlines is essential

  • Strong Team player with a positive attitude and an ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly in a global market

  • Fluent written and oral English. Another European language is advantageous.
