CooperVision Area Sales Manager, West China in China

Job Summary

Work with region CBT and HQ CBT to set up strategic plan and aligned with customers. Management team to ensure plan 100% execution in the field. Build partnership with key customers and integratingresourceto smart invest on the market then grow sales and gain market share in the region.

Essential Functions

  • Strong teamwork capability, management and motiving teams to achieve the sales target;

  • Maintains high level of motivation of the entire team and promote the development of subordinates based on information obtained through performance evaluations and result achievements;

  • Understanding company strategies and commercial policies, monitoring the implementation;

  • Establishes goals for the sales team, monitoring the performance of all involved;

  • Develops promotional plans and campaigns to increase the sales volume and marketing share of defined products;

  • Focus on key product (clarity, BF, myday…) consistent growth.

  • Plans and delivers sales training sessions;

  • Monitors the AR to achieve DSO goals;

  • Maintain reasonable customer inventory.

  • Build good partnership with customers.

  • To maximize trade, spend in the pursuit of market share and profitability gains

  • Ensures the timeliness and effectiveness in administrative matters;

  • Assists marketing area with promotional materials planning to support sales activities;

  • Ensures the effectiveness and efficacy in Customer Service Department;

  • Looks for new opportunities and new alternatives to contribute more sales in the customers.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the Ophthalmic Market

  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting and planning

  • Be able to understand the customer´s needs

  • Ability to recruit staff and monitor performance

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Creativity and teamwork spirit,

  • Fully understanding on the products and services provided by CooperVision

  • Familiar with computer software programs eg Word, Excel, power-point etc.

  • Negotiation skills

  • Advanced knowledge of English language

  • Team management skills

  • Willingness to travel

  • Teaching skills

Work Environment:

  • Normal work environment

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales management

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Health care or FMCG industry.

Education:

  • With Bachelor´s degree
